October 2018 showed a significant increase in the total number of sales for Christchurch compared with October 2017. So there is a spring surge occurring and hopefully in will extend through the summer.

The median sale price for Christchurch City was $474,000 and the average days taken to sell was 37. Healthy figures and encouraging.

The recent bank moves to vigorously compete on mortgage rates is good news for buyers as are  the rumours that the Reserve Bank may be considering easing the deposit level requirements for home buyers.

A bit of warmth, and some blossom and we see things happening.
